Channels Overview

WhatsApp Channels are a broadcast tool for users to send updates to subscribers. The Waplix Channel API lets you create, inspect, search, and subscribe to public newsletters.

Key Concepts

• Channel JID: Channels use a unique JID formatted as [id]@newsletter.
• Broadcasts: Unlike groups, channels are one-way broadcast environments where only admins can post.
• Privacy: Subscriber phone numbers are not visible to other subscribers or the channel owner (except JID matching on interaction).
