WhatsApp Status/Story broadcast settings, media uploads, and privacy modes.
WhatsApp Stories (also known as Status updates) allow you to share text, image, and video updates that disappear after 24 hours. The Waplix Stories API lets you post, revoke, and manage privacy rules.
Privacy & Broadcast
- Target Broadcast JID: Stories are sent to the reserved identifier
status@broadcast. - Supported Formats: Text status updates (with hex backgrounds), Images, and short MP4 Videos.
- Disappearance: WhatsApp deletes status updates automatically after 24 hours. You can revoke them earlier using the Revoke Story API.
