WhatsApp Channels feature engine limitations depending on session states. Here is a list of documented capabilities and warnings.
Current Limitations
- Channel list retrieval may return "Feature Not Supported" depending on WhatsApp engine flags.
- Subscribe/Unsubscribe operations may fail with "Not Allowed" on personal WhatsApp accounts unless verified newsletter rules apply.
- Searching channels is dependent on WhatsApp's global directory server index state.
